Hi every one, Welcome to Hotchillipix Blog
How to Look Good in Photos
1.) Dress to impress
Dress nicely. Keep it simple, neat and ironed. If you’re wearing something sheer, realize that it will become more transparent under certain lighting and camera flashes. Choose your colors by your skin color and the shape of your body.
2.) Do a quick check
Take a quick look at yourself. Check that your clothes aren’t crumpled, hair’s not messed up or something stuck between your teeth. You always can ask your photographer to do a quick check for you before the shoot.
3.) Don’t hunch
Slouching not only makes you appear shorter in photos, but often brings about unsightly stomach rolls too. Straighten up and stand tall, as if you’re head’s being pulled by a vertical string.
4.) Relax the shoulders
When we’re nervous or stressed, our shoulders automatically tense up without us knowing. Take notice of them and subtly roll them back and push them down.
5.) Think happy thoughts
Don’t make the “forced smile”, the photo can not lie. So think about a moment when you were truly happy. Hopefully that happy thought will bring a more genuine smile to your face.
6.) Smile with your eyes
It is very important to smile with your eyes. If your lips are smiling but your eyes are all tensed up, you’d end up with an awkward photo. Simply relax the eyes and eyebrows and don’t strain your eyes trying to look at the camera. The eyes are always telling the truth. Small tip: Close your eyes for a second before opening them to take the photo.
7.) Location
An interesting background can make a huge difference to the photo. It can just be a textured wall or a colorful backdrop.
8.) Have fun
Have some fun with your poses or maybe interact with a prop or another person. The important thing is to be yourself.

Photography Tips - Part B
TIPS IN PHOTOGRAPHY (FOOD PHOTOGRAPHY AND GENERAL SHOTS)
1. Keep the background clean
When we are taking our picture, we concentrate on our subject. We must to remember that the background takes a big part in our shot.
Good background can help and improve the picture, the right background can make the shot stand out.
So what should we do?
When you are choosing the background, always check that it is not distracting from the subject. Clean or pleasing background can help.
You can get it by taking the background out of focus (the depth of field in your picture needs to be reduced enough, so that your subject is sharp and the background is blurred). Long depth between your subject and the background will aloud you more choices with your aperture.
Background color should not be stronger then your subject color.
